THE LIVING ROOM: The great room anchors everything: deep sofas, and a wide-open flow to the dining area and kitchen. It's the kind of space where no one retreats to their room because there's no reason to leave.

THE KITCHEN: Fully stocked for 14 guests. Butcher block island, custom cabinetry, Jura espresso machine, Keurig coffee bar, full-size refrigerator and freezer, electric stove, oven, dishwasher, blender, wine glasses, and every pot, pan, and utensil you could need. Coffee, tea, and sweeteners are stocked and waiting on arrival.

ATV & SIDE-BY-SIDE TRAILS: Ride Trail 2 directly from the property, no trailering required. Gogebic County (MI) and Iron County (WI) together offer 500+ miles of designated ORV routes through Ottawa National Forest. Free trail maps at the Ottawa National Forest office on US 2, 5 minutes away.

BLACK RIVER HARBOR & FALLS (20 min): Five waterfalls through old-growth forest to a sandy Lake Superior beach. Best hike in the area.

LAKE SUPERIOR (20 min): Agate hunting, paddleboarding, kayaking, or just a rocky shoreline with nothing but horizon.

PORCUPINE MOUNTAINS STATE PARK (45 min): 60,000+ acres, Lake of the Clouds overlook, 90+ miles of hiking trails.

COPPER PEAK (10 min): Open summers for chairlift rides with one of the best views in the Midwest.

You have the entire Timber Haus, all three bedrooms, the cedar sauna, outdoor hot tub, game room, full kitchen, washer and dryer, all outdoor spaces including the fire pit, BBQ, and garage, and all 10 private acres. The property is entirely yours for the duration of your stay.

You'll notice a beautiful old barn on the property. It's part of the character of the place and makes for great photos, but it is private and posted with no trespassing signs. Please keep all guests out.

Check-in is contactless via keypad. A few days before arrival you'll complete a quick online check-in through Happy Guest, and your private door code, driving directions, and WiFi are all delivered right to you. We (Danielle and Steve) live right here in the neighborhood and you'll have our direct number the moment you book, but the home is entirely private; you won't share it with anyone.
